About the Author

Attaboy is an internationally shown artist, creator and toy designer whose work is seen in galleries, museums, toy boutiques, magazines, calendars, art books, skateboards, designer watches and more. His art has been licensed to rock bands, companies and even seen on cable TV, too.
He is also the co-founder of the acclaimed and best selling New Contemporary Art Magazine Hi-Fructose with his wife the artist Annie Owens.
You Might Be a Monster (& Other Stories I Made Up) is Atta’s first ever book of stories that everyone, including kids, might like.
He loves reading about Orson Welles (there’s a tiny tribute to him in the book!), adores the films of John Pierre Jeunet and his heroes are Dr. Seuss, the toy inventor Marvin Glass and most importantly Atta’s dad, whom this first book is dedicated to.
Attaboy lives in the East Bay of San Francisco with his wife Annie, a pug named Donut, and a pesky bunny named GiGi.
